How do you curate?
I curate group trips for busy professionals that work hard and want to vacation harder and enjoy the fruits of their labor. For that bride to be we want her special day to create lasting memories for years to come. We listen to the client of their wants and needs and make the magic happen.
Why did you decide to do this type of work?
After retiring from the military booking travel in DTS I knew I wanted to continue doing travel as I loved it. I reflected when I first got married and the way the agent treated us, I knew I wanted to go above and beyond for my clients.

What is the largest number of persons you accept for one trip?
It depends on the trip for instance for one of my destination weddings we had 98 guests, and for our South Africa trip we capped it at 12 clients to create an intimate setting so everyone could get the full experience.
Do you offer customized itineraries, and if so what is the cost and what is included?
Yes we do. The price varies depending on the planning services. The price ranges from $125 for cruise planning to $3999 for destination wedding planning.
Do you personally attend each trip, or how do you choose representatives to travel with groups?
I attend all the group trips that we host. If something comes up to where I can't attend I have a JEK Travels staff member in attendance. We also have group ambassadors that are on all trips to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Please share your payment and refund policies
It depends if it's one of our hosted group trips the payments are non-refundable if clients cancels or stop payments. If we have to cancel or change dates the client will receive a refund. If client is booking individual trip then cancellation fee is put in place along with supplier penalties if any and client is refunded. All this information is transparent to client beforehand. Travel insurance is encouraged and highly recommended on all trips we offer.
Do your trips include air or do you assist with arrangements?
For our group trips yes if we have at least 10 clients coming from same location we will add the group air on the reservation. Most of our group trips don't offer as clients are coming from different locations. If we're doing a Africa trip we will have group air leaving from a major hub say JFK where client has to meet us in JFK to depart.
For Land Only trips please share what services you provide and when.
For our land only trips we provide roundtrip transfers when client submits air arrangements, tour excursions etc. The services start when client departs for trip and stops once they arrive home from destination.
For international travel do you have a process to assist with documentation (e.g. passports, visa, etc)? Please share details.
Yes, when a client sign up on one of our trips they are given the proper resources to ensure they have all the correct documentation. We will do the triple check with clients meaning a zoom call, email and phone call to ensure all bases are covered.
If you host larger groups, how many representatives to you provide per traveler? How do you communicate with travelers during the trip?
When traveling with a large group I will have 2 team members and 3 group ambassadors on the trip. We use WhatsApp to communicate with guests.
